# Platform navigation

> Navigate the Dashboard, Action Items, and Patient Pages.

The platform is organized into three primary views: Dashboard, Action Items, and Patient Pages.

## Dashboard

The dashboard is your central hub. Sort by **Status** to surface patients requiring immediate attention. You can filter and organize patients by Status, First Name, Last Name, and Doctor.

## Action items

The Action Items page is a centralized task list showing all patient-related tasks that need care team attention. For each item you can see:

* Associated patient
* Severity level
* Creation date
* Category
* Description

### Managing action items

From any action item you can:

* View complete item details
* **Reassign** the task to another care team member
* **Send a notification** via email or SMS
* **Resolve** the item or save changes without closing

### Filtering action items

| Filter     | Description                                                                   |
| ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Assignment | Filter by your tasks, team-wide tasks, or tasks assigned to a specific member |
| Severity   | Prioritize by severity level                                                  |
| Category   | Organize by category type                                                     |
