Accessing live chat
- From the main navigation bar on the far left at any time.
- From the top right of any patient page.
Sending and receiving messages
Typing a message: Use the text box at the bottom of the chat. Your message lands in the same SMS thread as all other program content. To send: click the blue send button, or press Shift + Enter. Attachments: Click the paperclip icon to send a file. Patients can also send attachments back to you.Additional features

| Download history | Click the cloud-with-arrow icon to download the full chat history for your records. |
| Disable automation | Toggle off the AI Assistant to pause automated responses. Automation is automatically disabled for 20 minutes any time you send a manual message, giving the patient time to respond. |
| Action item visualization | Select the Action Items dropdown to view all action items associated with this patient. Action items triggered by a patient message are noted in the chat history. |
| Expand/collapse | Hide or show action items and comments for easier reading. |
| Comments | Comment on a message to tag colleagues for cross-team collaboration. |
