The referral detail view (/referrals/[id]) shows all information extracted from the referral documents and lets you review, correct, and act on a referral.

Sections

The detail view is organized into collapsible sections:

PatientDemographics: name, date of birth, SSN, phone, gender, marital status, language.
AddressPatient’s home address and service location.
DiagnosisICD-10 codes, onset/exacerbation, diagnosis dates. See Diagnoses.
InsurancePayor name, policy number, group number, and eligibility summary.
Insured partyInformation about the insured if different from the patient.
Service locationType of service location (home, SNF, hospital, etc.) and facility details.

Inline editing

Most fields can be edited directly in the detail view. Select a field to activate it and type to edit. Changes are saved automatically when you move focus away from the field.
The Insurance tab has an explicit Save button. Unsaved changes in that tab are not auto-saved and will be lost if you navigate away or your session expires.

PDF viewer

The original referral document is displayed alongside the data panels. Use it to verify extracted data against the source document.

Comments

Add comments to a referral to leave notes for other team members. Comments are visible to all users with access to the referral and are timestamped.

Actions menu

The three-dot menu in the detail view provides additional actions:

Mark as ROCFlags the referral as a Resumption of Care.
Hide referralRemoves the referral from the default queue view.
Some actions in the menu are only visible to administrators.

Priority and flags

If a referral is marked high priority, a red exclamation icon appears next to the patient name. If a verbal order is required, an orange flag icon appears. These are also visible in the referral table.
